Ordination of Deacon Janusz Namyslak - Boram Shalom Parish

Shalom Boram Parish in Wewak hosted Diaconate Ordination of a Polish Brother Janusz Namyslak, from the Congregation of the Pallottines. Br Janusz Namyslak SAC arrived to PNG in 2002 and was placed in various places accompanying other missionaries in Wewak Diocese. Seeing the shortage of the priests in the Diocese his superiors supported his wish to become a Deacon.

Most important moment of the ordination is the laying of the hands of a bishop on the candidates head after praying to the Holy Spirit and All the Saints. In the picture Bishop Jozef Roszynski, SVD is laying hands on Brother Janusz Namyslak ordaining him Deacon.
