Mission dinghy missing with priest and eight others

A mission dinghy remains missing as of sunset today, 28 August, between Goudenough Island, Rabaraba and East Cape in Milne Bay province about 30 hours after passengers were able to contact relatives through Digicel and apparently report fuel and engine problems. The boat is reportedly carrying Fr. John Berchman PIME, an Indian national, and about eight teachers and health personnel from the Watuluma Catholic Mission in Goodenough Island.
